Fall Newborn || Grove City, Ohio Newborn Photography

There are few things I love more than neutrals. And that's all things FALL. (And pumpkin spice lattes. But moving on.) Baby Liam was a gem for me in my newborn studio a few weeks ago.

Grove City, Ohio Natural Light Newborn Studio || Columbus, Ohio Photography

This blog post is part business, part personal. ;)

My husband and I moved into our first home in September! Not just any home, but my childhood home. When my mom told me they were looking to sell the house, I knew we had to buy it. I spent twelve wonderful years growing up in that house before moving into my first apartment with Rick. It's a four bedroom house with plenty of room for future children AND a studio!

The moment I knew we were buying this home I imagined what kind of studio space I would create for my clients. I wanted something timeless, comfortable, and organic. I love neutral colors  & soft fabrics. I had a local carpenter make my wood platform which I absolutely LOVE. I knew I wanted the option to let families sit on a bed for lifestyle photos but knew I didn't have room for a bed, wood backdrop, and paper backdrops. This two-in-one combo rocks my socks! A neutral, creamy light tan backdrop hangs on the opposite wall to photograph parents holding their newborns, as well as a large bean bag/stand combo to photograph newborns on soft-textured fabrics.

I also have the option to photograph child and maternity portraits. I can't tell you how much I'll enjoy being able to photograph clients from the comfort of my own home, especially as the cold winter months approach us.
