I met the Light family a couple years ago when I was starting my photography journey. I met their three adorable children so full of joy. We had been keeping in touch through social media when I was tagged in a post about their sick pup. I was so grateful to have been tagged on Facebook to give the Light family a Rainbow Bridge photo session for their family and furbaby. Carly's photo session was scheduled quickly and we met up within a few days of chatting.
As it turns out I live about a half mile away from the Light family! I took my three minute drive to their home last week and was immediately greeted by Miss Carly Sue and her family. I prayed for good weather as it had been storming off and on for what seemed like the entire week leading up to our session. My prayers were answered and we were blessed with soft cloudy weather that evening.
When you photograph pets you quickly realize that, like toddlers, they run the show. We went outside and let Carly pick the spot where she would want to be photographed. She walked to the front yard where she would frequently sit and wait for one of the kiddos to get home from school. That was that. We would have our session in their front yard.
Such a serious, sweet girl. I love this capture of her.
She loved watching the cars go by and looking at her family.
She got to soak up some lovings from Mom & Dad.
Her two-legged siblings wrote notes filled with love for her.
She even got a special visit and some snuggles from Grandma & Grandpa.
You are so loved sweet girl. It was a pleasure meeting you & your kind soul.

Central Ohio Extended Family Photography Session
Columbus Ohio Family Photographer
Ankur contacted me from out of state to schedule an extended family session for his entire family. A lot of them were traveling to Columbus for one weekend only to celebrate their father’s 80th birthday. They wanted to document it with a large family photo session with a summer feel. I was thrilled to schedule a session with them and we began planning the location and outfits right away.
