Baby Shepherd’s mom messaged me through my business Instagram to inquire about a six month baby milestone photo session in my studio. She loved my use of a lot of white and simple setups. She asked if we could also capture a photo with her older son as well. I was happy to be able to schedule her so we could begin planning her session together!
Danae, his mama, had some really simple and timeless requests. She really wanted to show off her baby’s rolls, eyes, features and even his little tush! I talked with her about all the setups and options I have for baby milestone sessions in my studio. She was over the moon to plan this session! She even drove from over an hour away to have these portraits taken in my Grove City studio.
When siblings are involved in any photo session I always start with those photos first. Toddlers can sometimes behave better right when they meet me and are still in that shy phase. Big brother listened to me when I asked him to sit up on the cozy bed with his brother. He was so excited to get to hold and snuggle his baby brother! Later in the session, big bro was full of energy and likely would not have sat still for his photos - luckily his portion of the session was already complete!
Shepherd was such a little chunky, cutie pie of a baby! He smiled for his mama almost every time she caught his attention. Such a mama’s boy! We captured him crawling on the floor, in a soft prop, on my studio bed and in his birthday suit. His mom loved looking over all the images to pick for her online gallery! She is a repeat client of mine and I so enjoy watching her kiddos grow.
