I’ve been working with the R family since their son, Davis, was born. I’ve captured his newborn photos, baby milestones and now their entire family as he turned a year old! All their previous sessions were held in my Grove City, Ohio studio. So this time they wanted to plan for an outdoor session. They loved the idea of meeting in German Village for a timeless look.
The weather and lighting was perfect the day of their family session! It was mostly cloudy with hints of sun peeking through, which makes for beautifully-lit photos. This family always dresses perfectly and never need my help when styling their outfits. However, I do offer email or phone consultations if family’s need help putting outfits together.
Baby Davis loved exploring now that he learned to walk. He isn’t scared of me or the camera either which made my job easy! We walked around Schiller Park’s bridge, lawns and their stunning amphitheater. The leaves had just begun to change so you could tell Autumn was on its way. The clouds gave way at the end of their session for the most gorgeous golden hour portraits of this family and their son, Davis.
I love working with this family and can’t wait to document their next family moments!
