I met Jack’s mama, Elise, as a senior in high school. Her mom, Elizabeth, contacted me to schedule senior portraits. From there, an amazing client friendship was born. I helped document important family moments for them over the last five years from senior portraits, to holiday photos, and even a wedding! YES - you heard right! Last year, Elise (Jack’s mama) met her soulmate, Ryan. They were married on her grandparents property last fall. They asked me to document their big day and I jumped at the chance to be there that day!
This winter, Elise reached out to me asking about newborn portraits and I was so excited to be there, yet again, to capture another big milestone for them. They chose to book my Petite Newborn Session, which includes 10 images of your baby. This type of session is lower in cost than my Full Studio Newborn Session, and include newborn photos only. Some families are simply too exhausted for family portraits AND newborn photos, or they prefer a less costly option. Either way, I’m happy to offer this type of session!
The day of their session they arrived to my studio with sweet, little Jack. He was a bit hungry so his mama fed him a bottle. Once he was fed and had a new diaper, he was ready for his close up! They totally trusted my vision, which I love, and let me style every part of his session from the fabrics, prop and clothing. Their session was so relaxing that Jack’s dad, Ryan, dosed off on my studio bed. This has happens pretty often, and who can blame him?! It makes me glad to know that my space is so cozy that parents are comfortable taking a nap while I safely photograph their new baby.
