I met the G family in their Canal Winchester home in March to document their new baby girl, Camille. They chose an in-home, lifestyle newborn session because they love their newly purchased home. I love studio newborn sessions but I also have a soft spot for lifestyle sessions in a family’s home. You get to stay in the comfort of your own home and leave all the work to me! You might think your home isn’t anything special, but that doesn’t matter. I take my time finding the best, natural light in your home and choose the most flattering yet cozy “poses” for your family. We take our time with your little one, too. They might need breaks to feed or have their diaper changed. Newborn sessions, whether in home or in studio, are never rushed.
I arrived to their home and took a peek in their family room, bedroom and nursery. Baby Camille needed a quick feeding and then we started taking family portraits in their family room. Their two dogs made their way into a few photos too! They just needed a little bit of the spotlight - haha! After some time in their family room we went upstairs to Camille’s nursery. And what a beautiful nursery it was! Their master bedroom was just as gorgeous and filled with tons of window light. At the end of their session we were able to capture a few photos of Camille both awake and asleep.
