My newborn studio is located in Grove City, Ohio, just outside of Columbus by a few minutes. I designed this space with my clients’ needs in mind. All white wood flooring and white walls make for a beautiful backdrop for all types of sessions. My studio bed offers both comfortable seating as well as a cozy prop for families, babies and expecting mothers. Sometimes newborn sessions can last up to three hours so I want your family to be relaxed and at ease during our time together. That is why I also offer refreshments and light snacks for all studio sessions. You never know when your baby might need a snack during their first birthday session or a new mom might need to replenish herself after a breastfeeding session.

I store all my prop related items in the closet. Inside you’ll find so many goodies for your baby’s session! Among the items are: headbands, hats, pants, onesies, fabrics, props (crates, bowls, chairs, etc.) Some of these items are also for baby milestone sessions as I have also collected clothing in 3-12 month sizes. The props can be used for newborns and up!

Just outside the studio closet you’ll see a blanket ladder filled with wraps for your baby. These fabrics are soft, stretchy and make the perfect swaddle! They are also used for baby milestone sessions in props and on the wood floor. Next to the ladder is a changing table with a freshly cleaned changing pad cover to change your baby at any time during their session. Below the changing area is a bin filled with essential items like burp cloths, wipes, diapers and hand sanitizer.

During newborn sessions I safely control the temperature of the studio with a space heater and digital room thermometer. This ensures your baby will never be too warm or too cold. I keep the room at a warm, 80 degrees, as your baby will be partially clothed throughout their session. Without the heater, this studio typically remains around 70 degrees. Simply too chilly for new babies who need warmth to stay happy!

Although this space is filled with white and light, I choose to use studio lighting in the most real and natural ways possible. I prefer to rely on my lighting than Ohio weather. There are days where the light outside is gloomy and dark, and other days where it might be super sunny and bright. I want each client to receive the same, consistent lighting and quality in their photographs. It has really allowed me to offer the best of the best to my clients!

I help offer clients a way to preserve their family’s important moments in a classic, natural way. By only offering the best items in my studio for your studio session. Newborns are posed in only the most safe positions using neutral colors. Baby milestones are captured being their adorable selves, playing in my studio with the wooden toys I offer. Families get to snuggle and relax while I document them being together. Expecting mothers glow with radiance during their maternity session to show off their beautiful bump.

Some of my clients live right here in Grove City, while others travel the few miles from Columbus, Hilliard, Dublin, Upper Arlington, Canal Winchester, New Albany and Worthington. I’m so blessed to offer this type of natural, timeless newborn photography to all of Central Ohio. I would love nothing more than to give you a way to freeze time and showcase your loved ones in beautiful portraits.
