Presley’s mom, Andi, contacted me this Spring to schedule her daughter’s portraits before her upcoming birthday. Andi and I met in high school over 15 years ago. I’ve been capturing their family’s important moments for the last four years. Andi booked a Spring mini session when I opened the available time slots in March. Unfortunately the entire afternoon was rained out, forcing me to reschedule all my sessions. Andi’s schedule is a bit hectic, being the owner of Grove City’s Never Grow Up Boutique baby boutique. So she asked to plan her daughter’s session at a later date without my Spring setup. I was happy to set aside a little time for my long-time pal and her oldest daughter.
We met at Gantz Park in Grove City, Ohio. Their playground is currently undergoing a bit of a makeover and is under construction. However, their garden area did not disappoint! I just knew it would be a beautiful, hidden gem! The light and florals made a perfect backdrop for her birthday photos. Presley picked out her own outfit, because being the oldest means you have the most responsibility! She chose a gorgeous, colorful dress with colorful sandals to match.
