The L family contacted me to schedule a fall family session in Columbus. They recently moved here from another state and needed to find a new family photographer in town. I was so happy they chose me to document their family’s moments! Mom, Hayley, was nervous about what we would do if the weather wasn’t cooperating on the day of their session. I assured her we would pick another date. We ended up having horrible winds and chances of rain on the day of their session. She was relieved that I didn’t try to keep their session date. It’s important to me that you and your children have a great time during your session. Children tend to get nervous when it’s really windy outside. I know my own little one gets upset when the wind is in her face.
Our new session date was about a week later and the weather didn’t disappoint this time! We had mild temperatures and soft, glowing light that afternoon. Their son, Beau, was just about the cutest little boy I’ve ever seen. His button nose and blue eyes - adorable! We had so much fun at Schiller Park in German Village. We took some strolls down gorgeous paths, played peek-a-boo, and they snuggled and gave lots of love to one another.
Now the L family is expecting their second child this summer and they’ve asked me to document an in-home newborn session for them. I can’t wait for their second bundle of joy to arrive!
