Baby Desmond's Newborn Session | Columbus Newborn Photographer
Shannon contacted me early on in her pregnancy to schedule her second baby’s newborn session. Shannon and I have known one another since elementary school. I’ve been photographing their family since their oldest daughter was one. I was so excited for her to have another baby! We scheduled her session within the first 14 days after her due date. She kept me updated on her due date as it changed a few times before she ended up having a scheduled induction. Baby Desmond was 9lbs 1 oz at birth! Way to go mama!
Leading up to their session date I helped her coordinate outfits via email. She sent me photos of outfits and she trusted me to help her choose the best possible outfit combinations. They wore all neutrals with pops of gray to go with some of the decor in their home. I always suggest thinking about the colors in your home when choosing outfits. If you have more warm tones you can always opt for some tans and creams instead of a cooler gray color.
The day of their session baby Desmond kept so sound! He didn’t open his eyes once and let me curl him up nicely on my newborn bean bag. His big sister, Arya, loved him to pieces! With older siblings you never know how they’ll react to a new baby in the family or if they’ll want photos taken together. Miss Arya was thrilled to have sibling photos with her new big brother. She is totally smitten with him as you can see in the photos! I can’t wait to see him again for baby milestone portraits!
