Grady's Studio Newborn Session | Grove City, Ohio Newborn Photographer
Paige reached out to me by email to schedule their second baby’s newborn session. Her baby was due in a few weeks and she hoped I still had some availability around her due date. I run my business full time and have weekday and (limited) weekend openings for newborn sessions. I was able to schedule their session within baby Grady’s first 14 days of life. Those first two weeks babies tend to be sleepier and easily curled up. This doesn’t mean I won’t schedule a session with an older baby. I have photographed older babies who sleep wonderfully during their session. Even if they are awake, it makes for beautiful portraits full of eye contact!
Grady’s mom, Paige, talked with me about the outfits she chose for them to wear. It is so important for me to talk with each client before their session about what they plan on wearing. Sometimes I’ll even request a simple cell phone photo of all the outfits. I might suggest a substitution if I see that something looks out of place or could use some improvement. I loved everything about the outfits Paige planned for her family!
They both requested a few pops of neutrals to add some color to Grady’s session. I typically stick with classic, bright white in my studio. However, I do store beautiful fabrics in other neutral tones for special requests. I love how the pops of gray look in his gallery of images!
