My sister, Jennifer, texted me on August 24th telling me they were expecting baby number three! Her other children are Abby and Levi. I've photographed them so much you probably know them by now! I documented her whole pregnancy from her announcement, baby shower, maternity photos, graham's birth and both newborn sessions. Whew!
We had literally 15 minutes one evening to capture some of the first months of her pregnancy so I found the most awesome, untouched field and went to town capturing quiet moments of their family's joy.
Flash forward to this spring and I'm helping to plan her rain cloud themed baby shower. Let me tell you, planning a shower is no joke. It's so much work!
We planned her maternity session for the last hour of sunlight, which is obviously the best and only option haha. It was so much fun exploring beautiful locations with my sister and watching her hold her belly, knowing her baby would be here in a few short weeks.
4 AM came very early on April 26th, when I had to get ready to be at the hospital for her scheduled c-section. The anticipation was killing our family; just waiting.
At 8:13 AM Graham Austin arrived.
Seven pounds & fourteen ounces.
Ten toesies.
Seriously, look at that red hair poking up!
Two weeks later he arrived at my home in Grove City with his mama for newborn photos. He was full of sass and fussiness. Haha!
Graham and his family came back for more photos a few weeks later and he had changed so much! He gained a few pounds and became quite the ladies man. When I looked at this photo and compared it to his newborn session photos it became abundantly clear of the importance of newborn photographs. Your baby changes SO fast!

Central Ohio Extended Family Photography Session
Columbus Ohio Family Photographer
Ankur contacted me from out of state to schedule an extended family session for his entire family. A lot of them were traveling to Columbus for one weekend only to celebrate their father’s 80th birthday. They wanted to document it with a large family photo session with a summer feel. I was thrilled to schedule a session with them and we began planning the location and outfits right away.
