It's taken a while, but I'm finally at the point in my career as a photographer where clients are booking me because of my style, my studio and my stress free newborn sessions. This sweet family walked into my studio and walked out in under two hours. We talked, laughed, relaxed and took some timeless portraits for them to treasure forever. They love the classic look that bright white gives to a photograph. And right then I knew we were a great match!
Baby Everett was a natural during his photo session. He slept most of the time except for a milk break. I always remind parents that it is OKAY for babies to need a feeding. It's okay if they need their diaper changed. Our time together is never rushed, but it also tends to never last more than two hours. Why? Because I don't believe in forcing poses, making siblings behave for hours on end in a small space and having new moms sit forever when they could be at home napping. Sleep is top priority! :)
